The Frist Foundation has awarded a $1 million grant to help families still recovering from the December 2023 tornado. The grant will go to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Long-Term Recovery Group (CMC-LTRG), through which United Way of Greater Nashville (UWGN) is the fiscal sponsor.

Volunteers from Ohio church groups have come to Clarksville, assisting in rebuilding homes damaged by the December tornado, a crucial part of the ongoing recovery efforts led by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Long Term Recovery Group.
